After the successful sale of the catchvideo.net domain and associated web site in October 2008 GlowRed.com decided to purchase three additional YouTube / video orientated domains, that had not been registered before.

In October 2008 the domain CatchYouTube.net was purchased with the intention of introducing a new YouTube conversion web site to compliment the CatchYouTube.com web site already purchased. The web site was launched in November 2008 with an updated user interface, together with the latest core software, which was better than the original CatchVideo.net site.

The main benefits of the CatchYouTube.net web site is that it is free, very easy to use, very fast and is offered in English, French, Italian and German versions.

The CatchYouTube.net web site allows visitors to convert and download YouTube video files into a number of different video formats for free. Formats include .mpg, .mov, .mp4, and .3gp video and also.mp3 and .wav audio. Once converted the files can then be downloaded onto the visitors own computer.

The downloaded files can then be stored for later viewing or copied to any number of video and audio enabled devices including PC's, Mac's, mobile phones (including the iPhone) and mp3 players. The downloaded files can even be emailed if required.

To drive traffic to the web site a number of different promotional solutions have been put into action at once. Search engine submission and web site optimisation has been used to gain an initial interest in the site.
