In 2004 a decision was made to move away from web site design for other companies and to concentrate on launching a number of web based Internet solutions totally owned and managed by GlowRed.com.
Later that year GlowRed.com made its first acquisition when it purchased a small company called Dorchesters Coins. Dorchesters Coins specialised in selling rare reproduction metal coins that at the time were sold directly to a small number of personal customers. In 2005 GlowRed.com launched Dorchesters.com online and also added to the coin range a number of reproduction medals. Since 2005 a significant number of new and rare coins and medals have been added to the online collection. Dorchesters.com currently has a range of over 280 products consisting of over 220 coins and 60 medals.
In 2007 GlowRed.com purchased the domain names my-iphone.com and my-iphone.co.uk with the intention of offering an email service for Apple iPhone users. A decision was soon made to extend the service and the domains F1mail.com and WizzMail.com were also acquired. The email services were to be sold under the brand name of EmailStore.com. Due to the complexity of establishing an email service with recurring charges specialist developers were sought. Spiraling design and implementation costs together with a long-term return on the investment ensured that the project never started. The domain EmailStore.com was sold in 2008 and F1Mail.com and WizzMail.com are for sale.
In June 2008, GlowRed.com acquired the domain CatchVideo.net together with a basic web site template that offered a revolutionary and free service allowing customers to convert and save YouTube videos into a number of different video and audio formats. The site was completely redesigned and redeveloped and translated into French, German and Italian. Traffic was grown from an initial 1,000 visitors a day to nearly 5,000 visitors a day. A decision was made to sell the domain name and associated web site and in October 2008 they were sold at auction.
